These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website ascendrainstitute.in and the training, mentorship, and placement-assistance services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Ascendra™ Institute & Placement Services ("Ascendra", "we", "us", "our"), founded by Sujithkumar Sivakumar and based in Kumarapalayam, Namakkal District, Tamil Nadu, India. By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, or enrolling in any programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. About Our Services

Ascendra operates two divisions:

• Ascendra™ Institute — technical and non-technical training, skill development, communication development, interview preparation, personality development, and career guidance/mentorship.
• Ascendra™ Placement Services — resume creation and ATS optimisation, LinkedIn profile enhancement, mock interviews, job search assistance, job application support, career mentorship, career opportunities across domains, and connections to government apprenticeship/skill schemes (e.g. NAPS, NATS) via licensed corporate partners.

All programmes begin with a personalised orientation and skill-gap evaluation conducted by a practising HR professional, after which a tailored plan is proposed.

2. Eligibility

Our Services are intended for final-year and pre-final-year students, recent graduates, working professionals, and college/institution representatives who are at least 16 years of age. By submitting our enquiry form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to provide it (e.g., as an authorised representative, where applicable).

3. Enquiry and Enrolment Process

Submitting the enquiry form does not create a binding contract or guarantee enrolment. After you submit an enquiry, our team will contact you (typically within 24 business hours, primarily via email — please check your spam/junk folder) to schedule an orientation session and discuss programme fit, structure, and fees, if any.

4. Fees and Payments

Fees, where applicable, are discussed individually during or after your orientation session and depend on the programme you choose. For our Institutional Campus Partnership programme, specific terms including any fees or conditions are communicated privately to registered institutions through our enquiry process. Any fees agreed upon will be communicated transparently before you commit, with no hidden costs. Refund or rescheduling terms, if any, will be confirmed in writing (e.g., via email) at the time of enrolment.

Institutional Campus Partnerships are additionally governed by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or a separate written agreement entered into between Ascendra and the respective institution. The terms of that MoU take precedence over these general Terms of Service in relation to the specific partnership.

5. Job Placement Assistance — Important Disclaimer

Ascendra provides 100% job placement assistance — meaning we actively and continuously support your job search through resume preparation, interview training, introductions via our professional networks, and employer partnerships. This is a commitment of effort and access, not a guarantee of employment or a specific job offer. Final hiring decisions rest solely with the employers concerned and depend on factors including your performance, qualifications, the employer's requirements, and market conditions, all of which are outside Ascendra's control.

6. Government Scheme Referrals (NAPS / NATS, etc.)

Where eligible, we may facilitate your connection to central or state government apprenticeship or skill-development schemes (such as NAPS or NATS) through licensed corporate partners. Eligibility criteria, stipend amounts, and programme terms are determined by the respective scheme guidelines and partner organisations, not by Ascendra, and are subject to change without notice.

7. User Responsibilities

When using our website or Services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information in the enquiry form and during onboarding;
• Not use the website for any unlawful purpose, or to transmit spam, malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
• Not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or affiliation with any college or organisation;
• Treat Ascendra trainers, mentors, and staff with courtesy and professionalism.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue providing Services to anyone who violates these responsibilities.

8. Intellectual Property

"Ascendra™", the Ascendra logo, and our programme names are trademarks of Ascendra™ Institute & Placement Services, claimed under the Trade Marks Act, 1999 (Class 41 — education, training, and career-placement services; Class 35 — business management, recruitment, and advisory services). All website content — including text, graphics, layout, design, and published reports or analyses (such as our Tamil Nadu Graduate Employment Analysis) — is the original work of Ascendra™ Institute & Placement Services unless otherwise credited, and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and other applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use our branding, course materials, or published reports for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Limited, attributed sharing of our public-interest reports for educational, awareness, or research purposes is permitted as described in those reports.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website links to third-party platforms such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Instagram, and uses third-party tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Google Workspace (via Google Apps Script) to operate our enquiry form. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of them is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Our website and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that programme outcomes will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ascendra and its founder, trainers, and staff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or participation in our programmes, including (without limitation) loss of income or employment opportunities.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ascendra, its founder, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of our Services, or violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue your access to our Services at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, without prior notice where urgent action is warranted.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Namakkal District, Tamil Nadu, India.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes — through a prominent notice on our website or, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of our website or Services after that notice period constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
